After my land line number is ported, will my temporary ooma phone number become the second number or will it just go away? I have Premiere services.

I'm pretty sure it just goes away unless you make other arrangements with customer service. When my number was ported the first number, along with all call log records, disappeared and the ported number took its place. My Premier second number remained the same.

Thanks .... I would like to have a number with a different area code so that would be perfect.

In my case I had already setup my second Premier number before the port went through.

Don't know for sure, but I would expect so. Don't know if there would be any charge for that.

Prior to porting, I did not have a second line number. But when my number did port, my Ooma number did indeed become my 2nd line number.

thanks thb ... after the port, did the number that was ported become the login for the lounge or did the login remain the temporary number.

When I ported my AT&T number Ooma told me that would be my new lounge login. I already had a Ooma second number, and my first number went away. I called Ooma and asked to keep the first number and they changed it so the second number went away. I can log into the lounge with either number.
