Have you gone into the HD2 handset Settings Menu and set the Earpiece volume up?

What version of firmware is installed in your Ooma Telo?

One way to find this is to:
Using the HD2 handset, Click on Menu.

Using the Navigation Pad bar, click on the About Handset (circle i) icon, then press the select button located in the middle of the Navigation bar.

Base version: is the Ooma Telo firmware version.

HS version: is the HD2 handset firmware version.

Record both in this thread.

Or

Check for the version of Ooma Telo firmware that you have by Dialing *#*#001 in a phone connected to the Ooma Telo Phone port. The firmware version audio comes out of your Ooma Telo Speaker after dialing *#*#001 in one of your phones.

Or

Find the Ooma Telo firmware version by accessing Ooma Setup and viewing it at the upper left hand corner of the first window that opens.

You may be able to contact third level Ooma Cutomer Support and ask for a later firmware version to help with this problem:

Contact Ooma Customer Support and see if they will "push" out a later version of Firmware for you.

You will probably need to ask for third level support.
