Ooma mobile on android

Post by NB2A » Sat Jan 21, 2012 8:19 pm

No matter what I do I cannot get preferences to log on and logo stays red with two different wi-fi connections
It has worked before
What could stop me from app now telling me wrong password or number?
I even tried Password reset on website

Any ideas?

Thanks

Not sure what process you are using. (which steps you go thru before failure)

On my Android phone (Nexus One with ver. 2.3.6)
I can log into my Ooma app (can see contacts) but I can not seem
to place any outgoing calls.

The icon on the top of the phone screen remains red.

Have logged out, re-booted, etc and still no luck. Also tested my Telo with my Panasonic cordess (DECT)
which is working fine.

Anyone have ideas?

I can log on see other preference options but as you I cannot dial out.It has worked many times before in the past.
Ooma icon stays red never turns blue anymore as before

Using 2.3.7 on a droid phone as well

Got it!

open the app on your mobile phone (icon is still red)

click settings

click account setting

put in 'mobile user name and password' (these are different than standard Ooma user name and password)
found this info under 'help'

Kind of a pain the system requires 2 different log-ins. I saved both in my contacts.

I am glad to hear you succeeded
I did as well but it seemed to be password related
Good luck
