I can receive a call and when I pick up the phone there is the dial tone. I place the call and the phone goes silent never transacting the call. If I reboot it works but later in the day the problem is there again. What's up?

Are you connecting your Ooma to the house wiring or got a phone directly connected to the phone port of Ooma?

If you are using house wiring, connect a phone directly to Ooma and do some testing.

If problem persists, you might be losing internet connection intermittently. Do the use built in modem port mac address in this post: viewtopic.php?t=9536#p66155 and see if your problem goes away.

Once you have done the setup change, go ahead and power cycle everything in series. Everything turned off, then modem on first, wait until it comes online, then ooma or router depending on what is connected to modem...wait until it comes up, and then the next device etc.
