Bypass Greeting

Post by GideonNewell » Thu Aug 12, 2010 6:44 pm

It would be nice if there were a number/key my callers could press to bypass my outgoing voicemail greeting to save on cellular minutes. For example, my outgoing voicemail greeting could instruct:

"Sorry I'm not able to take your call right now. Press 1 at any time to leave a voicemail immediately. Today is Thursday August 12, 2010 and I'll be in the office from 9am-5pm. Thank you so much for calling the offices of...."

Actually, southsound, it looks like you're the one double-posting. If you read the original thread, you'll see that I was encouraged to move the topic over to 'enhancement requests', and hence this new thread in the appropriate forum. You'll also see the modified opening to reflect this. Did you have anything to add?
