I downloaded the Ooma Mobile application to my iPhone, but can't log in. Using my phone number as the username and standard Ooma password doesn't work. The FAQ (https://www.ooma.com/support/knowledgeba ... mobile-faq)
says I can retrieve my username/password from the mobile site, but there is no option present to do so.

It also says that as a Premiere member I'll get 250 minutes per month of free mobile calling minutes, but that's not reflected in my balance and I'm prompted to buy mobile minutes.

Love the idea of a mobile app, already disappointed in the launch execution.

I have to agree. I'm a premiere subscriber but once I read this:

Q: How much does Ooma Mobile cost?
A: The Ooma Mobile application costs $9.99 and is available in the Apple App Store. Ooma Mobile minutes cost 1.9 cents per minute and charges are deducted out of you Ooma prepaid account. Ooma Premier subscribers get 250 free minutes of domestic calling every month with Ooma Mobile.

Q: Do I need money in my Ooma prepaid account to use the app?
A: Yes, you must have money in your Ooma prepaid account to use Ooma Mobile for the first time.

I became severely disappointed. I thought this app could be used to make and receive calls with wifi (mainly for me at least) with my iphone since I always have it with me. Also, manage the account. I'm not pissed at the $10 app, i think that is fine, charging per minute on something we already get with ooma. Really???!!!

What am i missing here?

Your Ooma Mobile username and password are different than your My Ooma username and password. You have to hit the link below to retrieve your Ooma Mobile username and password.

To enable Ooma Mobile, you need to have a prepaid balance. If you don't have a prepaid balance, it will give you an error message. That's probably what you are seeing.

I think Ooma needs to state that you must have a prepaid balance. I can see many people writing bad reviews because they where not told about this and you must have it. Is there a way to give all Ooma accounts 1 cent on their accounts to avoid this problem.

Make it 2 cents and then they can make a one minute phone call. :)

The information is there but there should be a link to the Ooma Mobile FAQ https://www.ooma.com/support/knowledgeba ... mobile-faq on the Ooma app page in iTunes (if that's allowed).

If you don't have money in your Prepaid account, you should see this:

This app does not make any sense. I thought the whole reason for this app was to use Ooma's minutes for FREE through my Wi-Fi. What's the difference if I use my iPhone or my home phone to talk at my house. Are they not the same minutes? Then why would I get charged for using minutes with my iPhone?

Strike two for the Ooma iPhone app.
