Over a year ago my boss bought OOMa,however he has a Wireless ISP and his speed is slow I think at 256K down and 128K up.
Has anything changed at OOMA the old box would not work so I bought it from him and love OOMA.But thought I check to see if anything has changed and he might try OOMA again?

Nothing is really going to change in the VOIP world to allow those specs to be shared with a standard internet connection and voip. The bandwidth your boss has is just too low and you didn't mention it but I suspect the latency is too high. If the latency was low enough, you might be able to squeeze just VOIP by itself in, but once you start using the connection for something else, no go.
