OOMA Joined the Linux Patent Protection organization

Post by coldsteel » Sat Apr 10, 2010 3:59 pm

OOMA joined the the Open Invention Network (OIN), which is an organization created to protect members from Linux patent trolls. OIN supposedly has about 300 patents that members (licensees) are able to use. OOMA's presence as a member prompted news stories on Network World and other trade mags over the last few days so that has been good publicity for both OOMA and OIN.
