ooma lounge desktop applet for GNOME

Post by gk4 » Sat Jan 30, 2010 4:54 pm

It would be cool to have an ooma lounge desktop applet for GNOME. A desktop system tray icon in could tell me if I have voicemail, then when I click on the icon it would open the lounge webpage. This would be great PR for the open source community. The open source community loves free, so ooma voip would be a perfect product for them. :-)

If someone from ooma tells me how I could query via HTTP if I have voicemail, then I'll write and publish an ooma applet for the GNOME desktop.

Nobody from OOMA has contacted me to tell me how to HTTP query my voice mail count.
