FYI, you can check your voicemails when you're away from home by calling your home number, waiting for voicemail to pick up, press * (or #?) and enter your PIN.

If you don't want anyone at home to pick up the call before it goes to voicemail, you can set Anonymous Call Block in my.ooma to go to voicemail and then dial *67 and then your phone number and your calls will immediately go to voicemail.
