It seems that there is a real push for premier service and I can't find exactly what basic service is!

I think it includes voicemail, caller ID, and call waiting. Is that all? Does it include call forwarding? Anything else I am missing?

Thanks,

Dawn

Ok, I think I found the answer.

More questions:

Can I call in to my phone from another phone and retreive messages with basic?

So I can't get an email with the message but I can log on to Ooma.com and listen, is this correct?

Thank you!

Dawn

You can call your Ooma number from another phone and access your voicemail. You can also log on to my.ooma.com and access your voicemail. I think you can even get a SMS notification sent to your mobile phone with Premiere.

Also, Forward on Network Failure is supposed to be moved to the Basic tier. It was announced in early December, but has yet to be moved. This was a good move, as any VoIP service should give the customer the ability to receive calls on a forwarded number should they lose internet access or have a power outage. I posted the question of when it would be available as a Basic feature in the Ooma Lounge forum, but did not receive any replies. Hopefully it will be moved to Basic soon.

Call forwarding is a feature I would really like to have, but not for $12.99/mo. When I am on vacation I like to just have my calls forwarded to my cell. it wouldn't be the end of the world to just call in daily to get my messages, but it would be very nice to have it available.

And yeah, for internet outages too.

call forward on network outage will become a core feature. If you're going on vacation, you could pay one month to have the feature while you're away.
