Hey, I still have one of those 4 prong plugs in my garage. Actually, for some strange reason I'm the one who installed it there when a relative who worked for Ma Bell or whatever name it was in 1976 gave me a box full of jacks so that I could activate all of the rooms here where we had jacks installed but they were un-functional.
I've just got an adapter in it to make 4 prong become a current jack. Do you think maybe I ought to modernize it>
It works fine just the way it is.
(yup, I do the electrical wiring here too, my other half was always afraid of that.) I'll tackle anything.
