Ooma already blocks 900 type numbers:

The Equipment, if not connected to a landline, does not support 0+ or operator assisted calling (including, without limitation, collect calls, third party billing calls, 900 or calling card calls).


International and 411 calls require a prepaid balance.

However, others have also asked for a way to block those calls in case the "maid" or "in-laws" are around. :)

It would be great to block those calling options but to be able to enter a code to unblock them on a per call basis. Possibly something as simple as your voicemail code. That way you could leave them blocked but would have easy access when you needed them.

just add an option to choose where 411 dials into. Let the user choose (in the lounge) if 411/555-1212, etc. connects to 1800-free-411, 1800,goog-411, some other free 411 provider, or the pay information providers.

it is just a matter of adding a few lines to a dial plan and pushing it back to the hub.
