Does this sound like a handy ooma option to have?

Post by Clifftr » Thu May 07, 2009 10:39 am

Most of us already know that we can retrieve our voicemail from any location by calling our ooma phone number, and in this same way have access to some voicemail settings using the voice menu. What if ooma were to expand this phone menu for us, so that we could also enable/disable the Multi-Ring (call forwarding) feature . . . Anyone have an opinion about this?

I agree... I would also like to see that option.

Good option. Verizon used to offer a feature called enhanced call forwarding that would do just that. You could call a special number from any location and turn your call forwarding on or off. Of course, it was more money than the standard call forwarding option. I had gotten it as part of a package deal.
