With the growing smart TV on the market. it would be nice to see who's calling on the TV (number name etc) or Interface with a camera for a live experience

If you have a dish receiver which takes in a dialtone, you can have callerid displayed on your TV while watching dish programming. You can do the same thing with cable without the phone line going into anything but you need to pay arm/leg every month for home phone service. I maybe wrong but Ooma would be crazy to try to write apps for all the different flavors of TVs out there.

I have one of these - nice large display. Bought it a while back for about $20. You could place it next to or on top of your TV.

They make an optional camera but it was a little large.
