Record a conversation...

Post by mitchel » Thu Jan 24, 2013 12:03 pm

I am sick of playing games with a large electronic company so I am going to record the calls (Colorado...only one person has to know they are being recorded and that's me) and post them on a website so the whole world can share my sorrows.

How can I record a call...any advice?

Speaker phone will work, but not as clean as I would like.

Check this out: viewtopic.php?t=8960

The best option is to go to Amazon and search for "Phone Recorder."

I have one of these and it works. http://www.digital-loggers.com/plu.html

Simple RJ-11 to USB. Their SW creates files by date and time, showing number dialed and Caller ID for incoming calls. Only gripe is that It doesn't know when to stop recording and sometimes groups sequential calls in one file. You can use other SW to cut files apart or take excerpts.

Be careful to comply with the law.
