Wireless Connection

Post by vmfuller » Thu Apr 30, 2009 7:01 am

I am thinking of going with a Wireless ISP to the house, will I still be able to use my Ooma System?

I have wireless broadband through, Xohm/Clearwire which is part of the Sprint network. No problems here...

I also have a wireless ISP - running at 3 mbps - no problems at all.

I have Clear and it doesn't work. Incoming voice is fine but my outgoing voice is all broken up.

Personally, I think the wireless ISP's are probably too unreliable. Many people experience jitter in their connection which leads to poor voice quality. Searching the forum, you'll find several Clear customers with issues.
