Hi I love my OOMA service but I noticed it is continuously broadcasting RF signals (I assume it is for the optional wireless phone...). It is interfering with some of my electronics and would like to disable it.
For instance, you can disable a wireless/wired router from transmitting any signals (usually by unchecking a box in the settings) if you only need to use the wired capabilities.
Hope that makes sense.
Is it possible to disable it as it is in some advanced setting somewhere? Or can I request this as a feature...
thanks,
lou

In the near future this feature may be added in Ooma Setup.

louieloulou, do you not have 60080 on your Telo? /viewtopic.php?f=10&t=14155#p98730
Dial *#*#001 from your phone and Telo would speak the version of software

Connect a (wifi turned-off) computer to Ooma's "Home Network" port (using ethernet cable).
Connect to the Ooma setup page http://setup.ooma.com or http://172.27.35.1
Go to DECT section and see if you have "Disable DECT" button (I am not certain whether Ooma took this out or still have it in place)

On a sidenote, for your reference:

No where in Ooma Setup, in an Ooma Telo using firmware Version: 60080, is the word DECT mentioned.

In a previous forum reply, Bobby B stated that the ability to turn off the DECT transmitter was part of the latest firmware but is currently "hidden" and will be exposed to users within the next few months.
