I just found out that with Ooma, my business number is no longer listed in the 411 directory service, nor will it be in the white pages. I was able to call 411 and get my business listed (hopefully), but as far as I can tell, the only way to be listed in the white page directory is if one's phone service provides that information to the publisher. At this time, I understand that Ooma does NOT do this. Somehow, in all my research into Ooma, I was not aware of this when I signed up for my business line... I don't mind it for my home line, as we were unlisted anyway.
I think this is VERY important, especially for small businesses. I'm not sure what Ooma would have to do to offer this, or if there would be some kind of a fee attached; but hopefully it is an option in the future.
