I'd like to suggest Ooma consider offering an optional monthly statement. Which could provide call log info, account ID (phone number) and user name via email. With details on any charges for long distance or other add on services (premium or overseas long distance).

If at some distant future time, Ooma service were to degrade, or Ooma were to go out of business ... we would need a bill to port our numbers away from Ooma.

I'd like to have an optional bill, just as a security to assure we could port out in the event things aren't always as nice as they are today at Ooma.

Okay.. that sounds like a legitimate reason!

Wouldn't some kind of "agreement" or contract, letter suffice that? If they could issue some kind of an official communication after the port is complete that could work.

That could work, or even a billing folder in the lounge. Where we could just print a statement, one which includes our name, address and Ooma phone number.

Currently the lounge refers to the Ooma phone number as Lounge id or some such.
