911 Alert did not send my custom message

Last Saturday we had to call 911.

I had setup our account to send a text message to each of our children if we called 911.

My message reads "AUTO TEXT FROM OUR OOMA PHONE We just called 911, will update as soon as we are able..... DAD or MOM....Don't know who made call as this is an auto send."

The message that went out was the default one from OOMA.

Why should this occur when I did setup my custom message?

How can it be fixed?

If you dial "611" to place a test alert - do you receive your custom message?

Bobby,
611 did not work from core system. Got message call could not be complete.

Telo worked but with the wrong message....Got [**Test 911 Alert**] A 911 call was placed at 4:30 PM from:

Info below was correct, did not want to post
Name
Address
City, State ZIP

Then came part of my custom message.
AUTO TEXT FROM OUR OOMA P (the rest was truncated).
One if by Land
Two if by Sea
Three if by Limo
