Wiretap regulations ?

Post by RxTx » Tue Nov 22, 2011 5:26 pm

The internet is not a safe place for privacy protection. Is Ooma subject to the same wiretap regulations that landline phones are? Regardless weather the “last mile”, copper wire or somewhere out in cyberspace?
Thank you.

I believe the same privacy laws apply. With or without law in the picture, I think Ooma is more secure than traditional landline. Take a look at this: viewtopic.php?t=11319#p78967
