I don't have a lot of use for the multi-ring feature, but in this case it would be nice to have an option to ring another # during an outage only. Not sure if that is doable, but it would be something I would sure like to see them work on!
So far, most people have just figured I wasn't home and didn't bother to try my cell phone and just left a message. (Which I have no way of knowing until Ooma comes back up, which it did for about 15 minutes.)

Set your voice mail to send you an email with the voice message attached.

That's exactly what I thought might be the problem with my suggestion; if the system is down, there's probably no way to forward a call to another number.
But if there is a way, I think it's something to work on!
