Ooma still can't call 311. Suggestion was posted January 2009.
Request again. Please program so that NY City area codes can call that number.
Does anyone know if it has been done for Nassau, Miami, Newark, San Franciso, Charlotte, Baltimore, Chicago, Houston, Pittsburg, Minneapolis, Knoxville, Chattanooga, Anahaim, Washington DC, Savannah, Auston, Montgomery?
Does OOMA maintian that OOMA Service does not have the ability to program calls to 311?

mschuller:
Your best bet is to contact Ooma Customer Service directly. They will want to know the phone number that you want to reach. They will want the date and time of the call. And the call attempt must have been made very recently.

311 would be a problem for Ooma since phone numbers are not geographically restricted like they are for Verizon etc.

I live in PA and have PA, FL, and UT phone numbers.
