Power outages / backups

We have many power outages. I notice that not every time my Telo does not become blue. I physically have to unplug it and plug back in to get blue. If I'm away from home, I'm toast until I get home. I have Insteon in the house and could do a remote outlet for the Telo, but would rather not have a second layer of things to go wrong. Does anyone else have this issue and how do I overcome it?

i have no backup power supplies, but most outages last hours and a backup may not be the answer either. That siad, I'd welcome a really good reccomendation for backups.

Ooma should come back up by itself but UPS maybe a good idea for your modem, ooma, router, phone.
