Not this freeloader. I have the old "Core" system, and I think we are still excluded from ANY taxes.

"Freeloaders" is inapproprate in describing any segment of Ooma user base. Whatever Terms of Service you sign up with, you live with.

Eh, even though I may not like it, it certainly isn't a deal breaker for me. I was paying $33/mo for Vonage with tax, so $3 and change is still a good deal. In fact, $3 is more than the taxes per month with Vonage, plus I paid a monthly fee!

hey,
I to am getting the upgrade from 11.95 a year to the 45.00 a year in taxes.
just remember it still is cheaper then having a normal home phone.
I am not real happy about it but wish they would have stuck with their word of 11.95 a year for us grandfathered people.

Wait, there are entitlements? What am I missing out on? ;)

As Obama promised: Change you can believe IN!

Welcome to higher taxes to pay for all of the new entitlements.

Yes! If you are an illegal resident here, you get free Obamacare health care. Unemployed, you get extra time to relax, I mean, look for work, etc.

How can you justify the increase from $11.75 per year to 41.64 per year? That increase in itself is 2 months regular telephone service. I put up with all kinds of problems with OOMA due to the fact its cheap. If you do not believe you have problems look at your own website with customers listing complaints and problems. Your increase reflects over a 200% increase in taxes to its customers. Move over AT&T and make room for OOMA to join your team.

This is nothing more than greed!
