NEW OOMA update and CALLER ID AND New Feature

Post by Trinimd » Fri Apr 15, 2011 3:55 pm

I am on basic and was having problems with incoming caller id staying in the history.

Well yesterday I received my update and my caller ID works just find again.

AND I noticed something NEW!!

When I hit the volume button on the telo base, there is a voice saying how loud the volume is (numerical value).
Also when I hit the brightness button there is a tone
Finally when I hit the paging button a woman voice says "paging..."

Something to look forward to! :D

If you have a Telo handset it's in the information screen.
If you have the new firmware already dialing *#*#001 will voice the revision level.

It voices it over the Telo speaker, not over the phone you used for dialing the code. The release notes didn't mention that, but Thunderbird noted it in another thread.
