separate voicemail greeting

Post by chris101 » Wed Mar 09, 2011 5:11 am

With only the Ooma Telo, and an additional phone number, is there any reason that the voicemail greetings cannot be specific to each phone numer? We have the extended voicemail functions when we purchased the premier service.
I believe the current solution is to purchase an additional device (Telo Handset) and then use the multi-ring function so that the phones connected to the telo can pick up either of the two lines.

The only way to have separate voice mail for the second number is to set up a Telo handset as a personal device and then assign the second number to it. The second number would only ring on the handset and the first number would only ring on the Telo base shared devices.
