Require Inbound Toll-Free Callers to Press a Number

Post by DTMF » Wed Dec 01, 2010 8:37 am

Inbound toll-free numbers are instructed to press 5 before their call can be put through. This prevents calls made by auto-dialers used by telemarketers from ever ringing. If they don't press 5 within two seconds, the call is disconnected.
One of your competitors has this feature. I think it would be a great addition to the Ooma service.
Ooma customer since November 2009.
Formerly employed at another VoIP company.
My opinions are my own.

Great idea! My landline has this feature and it has virtually eliminated the telemarketing calls.
