I set up my Ooma last night. I am able to make outgoing calls just fine. However, if you call the number, it rings, and rings, and rings on the callers end but does nothing on my end. It doesn't even go to voicemail. Any suggestions???

Sounds like a routing issue. I'd call customer service. Is it the same result no matter what service/carrier you call from?

make sure the envelope button is not lit. it might have been pressed when you handled your ooma and you accidentally set it to not to disturb you. I think you press it again for 3 seconds to reverse it.

I'm having the same problem (set it up today) and customer service didn't help (they just had me do a factory reset). I may give them another call. Bawhite1, did you ever get yours working?

Got mine working by connecting a phone line to the wall jack. Didn't think I would need to but after I did this, I have not had any problems!! Thanks for all the advice!!

I spoke to customer service again about my issue and they said it is an open issue on the Telo... sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. From my cell phone, it worked 2 out of 10 times, from a neighbor's land line it did not work, from another VoIP service a friend has it works, and from ooma customer service (whatever they use) it works. They did give me another number I can use for right now, but I guess this might be an issue until my number gets ported over from Qwest.

I'm having the same problem today. Periodic calls come in, but fewer now than last night (set up day). Are those who've enjoyed a 'fix' still working?
