I can sign into my.ooma.com, no problem.

Once there, however, I can't delete my voicemails.

Until now, the problem was that I could only delete one voicemail at a time even though all voicemails on the screen are selected.

Now, the system won't delete anything at all. I select all the voicemails on the screen, go to "More actions" and select "Delete," and the screen blinks and my inbox disappears for a second, but a few seconds later, everything re-appears.

Please help. The voicemails are piling up.

P.S. The drop down menu at the bottom of the voicemail page (where you can select 10, 25, 50, or 100 voicemails to be displayed on the page) doesn't do anything for me. I select "100" and nothing happens.

P.P.S. I apologize if this question has already been asked and answered. I used the search function and manually went through some pages and found nothing. I can't use "delete" as a search term. Too many posts come up.

Hello,

I just deleted a bunch of vmails & seem to work fine. What browser & version are you using?
I used IE8 as well as Firefox 3.6.3

Firefox 3.6.3.

I don't think very many other people are having this problem, but I'm hoping someone has and knows how to fix it.

Wait. It worked in IE8.

Now I feel like a boob.

Apparently, there's some bug I'm encountering in Firefox. (FWIW, the same thing that happened in Firefox happened in Google Chrome, but I stopped using that for unrelated reasons. But because it happened in two different browsers, I assumed the problem wasn't with the browser. I never use IE8.)

Thanks for taking the time.

Check to see if you use the popular NO-Script extension in FF. If so, allow the Ooma Domain not to be blocked at all. Also get the latest JAVA script releases for FF.

And another way around it, get the Extension for FF called, "IE Tab 2" (be very sure it is that one) and set https://www.ooma.com in its Option page.

I have Firefox 3.6.3 and am having the same issue about not being able to delete voicemail. I can put them in the trash, check them and click delete but then they just come right back.

I tried it with IE8 and still was unable to delete them.

This is really getting upsetting. Who can I contact directly at Ooma to find out why my voicemails won't stay deleted?

I don't remember ever deleting any vms from trash but you're right. They don't delete. IE8, Safari 4, Chrome 5. None works.

RIght, me too. I guess if Ooma wants to store all those megabytes of unwanted voice files, it's their server. Eventually the drives will fill up and maybe they'll notice.

1 GB is allocated per my ooma account; I suppose new ones will overwrite the oldest ones when capacity reached.

Btw, for those with GFs, tell them not to leave VMs because the wife might go through the VM Trash
