I have seen this happen a few times already where the Line 1 light on the Hub will turn on for a second and then turn off. No one in the house has picked up the phone. My Hub is wired with my house wiring connected to the Phone port and nothing on the Wall port. Of course I am disconnected from the at the NID. Two wireless phone base stations are on the house wiring and one FAX machine.
The question is, does the Hub turn this light on for any other reason than an offhook on the phone line?

I do not know the reason but my Hub does the same ... it has been doing it ever since I got it several months ago. It does not seem to be a problem, so I just ignore it. It actually happens within a few seconds of me hanging up a call.

One hypothetical is that it is checking to see if it is still maintaining a connection to Ooma?
