Answered call on 2nd line broadcasted via Telo speaker

Here's a strange one, curious if anyone else has seen this? Today I was on line 1 when a call came in on line 2. The phone rang a few times before I was able to rush the person off the first to switch over. When I selected line 2 on my Telo handset, both sides of my conversation were being broadcast via the speaker on the Telo base unit.
My theory is that the call was just about to go to voicemail when I answered and the Telo has a bug which doesn't know how to react to that, but since this was the first time I actually had a call on line 2 and I answered it perhaps this is the expected behavior somehow? Anyone else ever see this? I do have call screening enabled, I'm guessing this has something to do with the issue.

Best bet is to see if you can replicate it and see if it was just a one time technical glitch/fluke. Did Ooma voice mail pickup any part of the call?

My speaker does not work (since I received it), so I cant help.
Comcast > Telo > WRT54G
