Voice Mail & Enabling Call Forwarding conflict

Post by adrian961 » Tue Aug 04, 2009 6:05 pm

I have Voicemail notifications sent to my Blackberry. When I enabled call forwarding, I was unable to use my Blackberry to call my Ooma home phone & the call was not forwarded. I would be sent directly to a VERY garbled voice mail message. I also recieved the text on the Blackberry cell that I had recieved the call.
I had to un-enable the call forwarding to use the Blackberry to call home.

I just tried to forward my ooma number to my Verizon cell and it went straight to ooma VM. No ring or notification on the cell.

I selected multi-ring and it works. Not sure why call forwarding doesn't work but multi-ring does.

There is a bug with multi-ring/call forwarding:
