Voice mail lady asleep at the switch

Post by murphy » Fri Jun 12, 2009 5:17 am

6/12/09 8:54 AM EDT
Pushed the play button the hub.
Line 1 light came on for about 30 seconds but there was dead silence.

6/12/09 8:55 AM EDT
Pushed the play button again and got the normal voice mail lady response telling me that I had no messages.

6/12/09 8:56 AM EDT
Pushed the play button on the scout that is assigned to my second line.
Line 1 light came on for about 30 seconds but there was dead silence.

6/12/09 8:57 AM EDT
Pushed the play button on the scout again and got the normal voice mail lady response telling me that I had no messages.

Subsequent pushes of both play buttons get the normal voice mail response.

Exact thing happened to me yesterday morning. I had to reboot everything (hub/scout) to get it back.

I have had this same problem for the last 2 days. The only way to be able to get my voicemails is to unplug the Ooma box and let it sit for about a minute then plug it back up. It will then work like normal for alittle while but then when I get another voicemail it will give me the same problem and I have to reboot Ooma again and repeat the process all over again. What could be going wrong?

Since Saturday, 5/13, I have had the same problem. I see that there is a message so I press play button and the line 1 light comes on, but nothing comes through. I have to reset the hub to get it to work.

We believe we have fixed this problem. If anyone continues to run into the issue of not having any audio when they check their voicemail, please let me know. Thanks.
