Recently installed my Ooma and everything is working great, except one thing.

I am unable to call my Mother's home phone - her phone is with Cogeco. When I call from the temporary Ooma number I get one ring and then the phone shows as if we are connected and talking but there is nobody there. She has purposely not answered the phone in the hopes it would go to voicemail but it always seems to "answer" after one ring, but there is nobody there to listen or talk. I can call her mobile number, or anybody else in the family and friends with no issues. She is able to call into my temporary Ooma number with no issues. Call quality is great with every call that is successfully completed.

For some reason I am not able to complete an outbound call to a Cogeco phone number.

Guessing the problem is on the Cogeco end, but any ideas?

Ooma customer service can help you. Have them find out why your call to that 1 number doesn't work.
