I've had ooma since Feb. 1st and this is the first time it has happened to me. Not to worry.

System down in Maine since this afternoon (4/13/09).
Relief I found this on the forums... Wasn't sure if it was only me.

At the Board Index page, there is a OOMA Update and Status posting that is there to alert everyone of the current status of updates and the system itself. There have been almost hourly postings from OOMA about what is going on. The last posting was at 3:30 Pacific time. It looks like things are slowly coming back. The lounge is active again and so are some users coming back online.

As I was sitting here reading, OOMA has come back online. Looks like all is good in Indiana. Clicked online at 7:05 Eastern.

Still down in Onalaska WI. Now the time is 6:12pm.

Now the down time is 5 hours and 14 minutes and counting. This is not good for a phone service.

Back on-line in North Carolina. Still can not log in to my account. It's 7:16 PM here.

update:

7:20 have logged into my main account and scout account.

I have been with ooma since February 04th and this is the first outage. Nonetheless, this outage is inexcusable. They should employ redundancy and failover, which they obviously don't.

I was with Vonage for five years and don't ever recall an outage of this magnitude.

Today, I had to use my Skype account and my cell phone to make outgoing calls. I potentially missed important business calls.

I've had Vonage for 5 years as well and never experienced an outage.
