So far I am not seeing how to send calls to VM instead of ringing my home phone.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Are you talking about checking your VM away from home? Want to get into VM right away without ringing the home phone?

If you are Premier or Core user, set up Anonymous call block & send to VM. Call home using *67 prefix blocking your calleird.

press the envelope button on the Telo, hub or handset. This sends the curent call to VM. Hold down the envelope button until it turns red. This sends all calls to VM

Thanks for the quick responses.

I have two goals here. First is to be able to send calls to my 2nd number (I am premier) directly to VM, but not my
1st number.

Second goal is to be able to turn this option on and off while away from the Telo, either by using a telephone
or the internet with My Ooma.

Any of this possible?

Thanks

The 1st one, you'd need to make the 2nd number a personal number (assign to a personal device).
2nd one, can't do that remotely. DND function locally is the only way.

One workaround is to give out a GV number then have the GV number point to your 2nd number. Then provision GV however you want (when to ring etc.). This way, you don't need to make your 2nd number a personal number.

Thanks

What is a 'personal number' and where do I configure it's settings?
