Landline not ringing

I have the landline hooked into the 'wall' port and the phone hooked up to the 'phone' port. Incoming calls will ring on the other phones in the house but not on the phone hooked up to Ooma. Is this normal? I would like the landline calls to ring on the Ooma phone.

During activation process, did you pick a new number from Ooma? If that's the case, then you are running in standalone mode. The landline plugged into the wall port would only ring the phone connected to Ooma if your internet goes out.
