Howdy all,

I have some family members telling me that when they call me they get a message stating "they don't have the proper access code" or have "restrictions on their phone". I never heard of such a thing!

Any one know how I can get these folks to get through to me?
Can it possibly be their carrier - "Verizon"?

I hate to revive this topic but this appears to be a legitimate problem. I attempted to call a Verizon phone number today and received this message:

"Welcome to Verizon Wireless. Carrier Access Codes are not recognized by this network. Please hang up and dial the number directly. Announcement 6Switch 80-2"

I dialed the number with area code and without. I still receive the same message both ways. Anyone receive this message before?

Ooma Techs, any ideas?
