Existing phone line with Telo

I am getting a Verizon Home Phone connect in place of a cell phone I cannot cancel on contract. Long story... Anyways, I remember with the hub you could do some different things with an existing phone line connected to it. The guides for the Telo dont even mention this anymore. Anyone know of any articles discussing this? I think there were codes to call out through the other phone line, etc.

Are you talking about landline pass through?

With the Hub, no matter what configuration you are running, if the power or internet goes out, the phones connected to the Hub will fall back to the landline connected to the wall port.

With the Telo though, only if the internet goes out.
