I have this problem from time to time, and if I talk to the person telling them to wait, the problem clears up after about 10 or 15 seconds. It has only happened in my case when I call a number in a particular phone system that is in a small town. It seems like their electronics realize they answered, but the Ooma carrier system does not open my side to talk.

Do the logs and record number called.
