I just tried to place several international calls to the Netherlands, but in all instances there was no sound after the phone was answered. I could tell the connection was made since the international calling balance had shrunk.

I was able to place these calls through Google Voice and had to apologize for the silent calls.

Anyone have any idea what could be causing this?

My setup is:
Cable > OOMA > LAN

16M down, 2M up
I have verified that the OOMA device properly drops my bandwidth when i'm downloading or uploading.

On a related note, are there different rates for the Netherlands, based on provider/city? Each of the calls noted a totally different minute balance remaining...

had axactly the same issues but for calls to Germany. Called the hotline - surprisingly they pretty much already knew about the problem. They opened a ticket. Let'ssee what happens.
