Call Quality Changes

Post by ahmed5th » Sun Jul 12, 2009 4:58 pm

I have ooma connected directly modem and then to router. The phone line from the ooma hub is going to fax machine. I have a wireless phone that is hooked up to the ooma scout in a different room. I only use the wireless phone for calls and people are complaining of static on the line when i do not hear anything wrong. Also sometimes the ooma hub does not allow the person to leave a message. What is the problem and is there anything that i can do?

I think this is similar to what you're experiencing http://forums.ooma.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=883

However, there is no solution as of yet... My suggestion would be to connect you phones to the hub and bypass the scout to see if this fixes your problem.
