That post is directed to thunderbird. He's on the beta program and has several telo. Newer telo have a different DECT chip.

Yes, your unit has the same chip as when telo first came out starting with 4x. The new chip started appearing in the Ex series. The antenna design has also improved. More details on that later.

So if this new chip works better, how will that help those of us with $100's of dollars in phones that work half time? Hopefully they can figure out something to make them not have to be rebooted all the time.

I'm just curious if the newer hardware makes a difference in thunderbird's particular environment. Most of these issues are solved in software, so stay tuned.

Yes, anything with a MAC of 0Exxxx or over will have the newer chip. You may have heard of this telo because it's the one that doesn't support the HD1 handsets (so *#*#301 is not supported and *#*#302 is ignored as these telo are always in HD2 mode).
