no did not know there is a radio running. I will try again and shut down as much as possible. I will see if I have a separate data line to plug in the laptop. The wifi was running for both tests.

Also, try testing using a wired phone to eliminate cordless phone problems (power off the base, and take batteries out of the cordless handsets).

And NO, Ooma should not be consuming that much band width. Less than 100 kbps in either direction is the norm.

Well my complaints have been addressed. I have no idea what they did but things seem to be working much better. I never changed anything yet the Ooma is working great. This is fantastic news as I need this line to accept daily job placement. No phone no money!
