For the past few months everyone has been telling me that they can hear themselves back when they talk to me, I have tried multiple phones, speakerphone on or off.. I have verified this has nothing to do with my phone and it seems everything to do with my Ooma service. Is anyone else having this happen?

Ahhh.. it is, I enabled it a few months back since I occaisionally need to send faxes. I'm going to turn it off and see if it still happens. Does this mean that I have to choose between the ability to send/receive faxes vs. not hearing an echo?

Fax mode only needs to be enabled when anticipating an incoming fax.
To send, dial prefix *99; don't need to have fax mode enabled.
I believe Telo automatically enabling fax mode (when incoming call is a fax) is on future roadmap.
