Modem sits in my master bedroom closet where there is a panel for the whole house wirings. The modem only has 1 ethernet out jack, which I connect to the cable in the panel that goes to my family room ethernet jack. In my family room, I connect the Ooma hub MODEM jack directly to the wall ethernet jack, then the HOME jack on the Hub to my wireless router. Is this considered the configuration of "ooma directly behind modem"? The only difference I can imagine is that the ooma hub is connect to the modem through my house wiring, not directly by a cable. But the house wiring should still be considered a "long cable", right? Will my setup be good in terms of getting good QoS?
