is there a way to get rid of the omma tone when you pick up

I remember someone said you can do it, but i look at all the option there is, and don't see how I can do it.

The signature Ooma dialtone u can't do anything about. The optional connection tone that u hear when the other party answers is now no longer available as a feature.
