I am a new Ooma (hub) user and have airport extreme as my router. Ooma seems to work fine as long as I have it between my cable modem and Airport Extreme, but I need to move Ooma behind Airport Extreme because it's causing double NAT issue with AE. Due to double NAT issue I am not able to VPN and remote access. So when I do move Ooma behind AE, Ooma stops working. Red/orange light on the tab... Any ideas?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

It can be made to work in either config, but since you have it working in front of your router, have you tried just adding your Airport Extreme as the "DMZ" in Ooma config? That will forward all ports to your router (except the ones Ooma uses)

You could also go through a debugging process to figure out why Ooma isn't working behind the Airport Extreme router, but that might take longer.

Great. Thank you so much for your response. I will try the DMZ option and see if it works. I actually read some peopel mentioning of DMZ but wasn't really sure what it does. Thanks again for your help.
